Does anyone have experience with this tea?
I found a blog entry about this particular green tea:

I haven't been able to found anyone who sells this Chinese green online. So link(s) to any reliable vendor would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Re: Lue Xue Ya (Green Snow Bud)
Yep, one of my favorites. I get it in a local shop here in the Netherlands, I don't think they ship international orders. Lovely, slightly sweet, supergreen taste, with very little astringency.
This one from Adagio seems similar.

Re: Lue Xue Ya (Green Snow Bud)
Too bad they only have samples or teabags? (lol) left. Btw, when I pushed the order button for the sample tea it came up with the following message:
NOTE: Australia's customs does not allow the import of tea. However, we encourage you to view our teaware products.
Is this for real? Or only Adagio teas? I just received on Monday a puerh order from Yunnan Sourcing. Me no understand.
Anyway, why is this particular green so difficult to buy online?

Oh that is evil...forbidding the import of tea!bagua7 wrote:NOTE: Australia's customs does not allow the import of tea. However, we encourage you to view our teaware products.

Anyway, I think it may have something to do with the fact that green snowbud is a fairly new tea, I read somewhere that it's only been around since the nineties.
Re: Lue Xue Ya (Green Snow Bud)
No idea but it seems only a problem with Adagio teas, I just placed an order through YS and it's fine. I thought Australian customs just changed their regulations about importing tea in Australia...but it's not the case. Anyway Australia is strict when it comes to bringing foreign products into the country due to its fragile ecosystem...they no longer need more unwanted pests.
I guess it's time to wait for more vendors to stock this new green variety, doesn't it?
