Greetings TeaFriends. We hope you will drop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed the odds of drinking a teabag tea in March. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. What are the odds you will try a new tea in this new month. Please share of course. A new tea can mean whatever you want it to.
We are all looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

I doubt I'll have anything new in March. I hope so, but it's unlikely.

I'm planning on having a new tea TONIGHT, and hopefully lots of new teas all through March. I want to clear out the stuff I haven't been drinking and open up to new and better things.
With that said, I'm still trying to finish up the ol' Teavana ayurvedic chai. I'm at work and it's the only option I've given myself. Begone!

Some new tea incoming, so 100% yes.
Currently enjoying the tea-day with the last remains of my kabusecha, and a nice Tie Guan Yin that I got from a Chinese friend (see Oolong drinking thread for more about this).

I still have all the treasures I brought back from Malaysia 2 weeks ago, about 20 I tasted before buying and about 10 that I did not.
I said 100% but maybe I will only get around to the 20 that I tasted first.
Then again I have been breaking in new pots with other teas

That's the thing about being a beginner : you discover new things all the time !

Definitely will try a new tea this month.
For some reason, I ordered some flavored teas from Adagio.
Just to try something different I think. I tried the first one, Caramel Tea, a couple of days ago. Okay. Think I overbrewed it a bit. Still think I prefer less added flavoring or none.

I'm going to try Tai Ping Hou Kui for the first time this month. I received over 500 grams of it as a gift from a friend. I've got high hopes for this one

Probably no new tea this month for me. I am over stocked still from purchases in February and need an "inventory blowout" in March.
Enjoying the company of my old friend Yutaka Midori deep steamed sencha this morning. Ever new.

Yep, I'm resolv'd to order some new stuff this month. No idea which kind, though. A black, perchance? We'll see.
No tea so far today, and now it's too late. Oh well.

I have an order on the way with a few samples, so I'll definitely be trying something new. Among the samples are a Sencha and a Dragonwell. It'll be the first time I've tried either. I've seen Sencha mentioned in so many posts on TeaChat I figured it was about time I gave some a try.
There's a loose leaf Pu-Erh in my cup at the moment.

I said >80% since saying 100% could be bad luck. That said, I have 2 new packages of old favorite greens, and 2 white teas remaining from my 2010 Chinese tea buying spree. But, I have some unopened puerh and some untouched samples. Participating in the puerh OTTI has improved my puerh steeping skills and informed my taste so I'm looking forward to experimenting.
In my cup this morning, An Ji Bai Cha from 7 cups.
