Too soon to tell.

At this moment there are far more important concerns to have about Japan.

As olivierco says, there are more pressing concerns right now, but I have no doubt it will. Not only are infrastructure and fertile lands in disarray, but then there is the leaking radiation to contend with and that situation only appears to be worsening. An then there are the countless lost lives and lives thrown into an uncertain future. Terrible times, my heart goes out to the Japanese people.

Japan will be and is already focusing forward economically, this is vital to their recovery.

So, while the tragic suffering continues, the situation continues, the recovery continues for years to come, their economy continues as well. The country will not shut down. The people of Japan are very resilient in the face of disaster.

I am moving this topic to Tea and Accessories>Green Tea where it will be more at home. Adagio>Announcements is more for items dealing with Adagio. For now, I will leave a Shadow Topic under Announcements.
