It is really hard to find all stainless, most have plastic lids or even a small amount of plastic in the pot itself. If they have a level indicator, that is usually plastic and is exposed to water.

The aforementioned topics will be good background, but perhaps there have been market changes in the last (almost) 2 years.

I thought there had been some more recent follow-up in those threads (though my point was more.. search first, before starting a completely new thread).
Couple of more recent ones, just from a quick Google search:

As you'll see from reading this, lots of people are looking for this kind of thing, but it's hard to find. Most of the metal electric kettles with immersion elements will need to have some kind of material around where the electric wires come in. Induction would probably be the way to go if you're really concerned about avoiding plastic completely.

The Capresso glass kettle supposedly now has metal instead of chromed plastic on the inside. The lid and trim are plastic, but I think there is not much, if any, plastic coming in contact with the water on the new version. I smelled my friend's the other day, and there was not much plastic taste. But it's not that well made, and there are a lot of complaints about it breaking down in the Amazon reviews.

I kind of recall the glass Capresso has a silicone bead/seal around the joint where the heating element inserts into the glass on the bottom. Silicone is not plastic albeit, but it is a consideration for anyone wanting all SS.

BTW, I purchased a Capresso that lasted just over 90 days and just died. Fortunately the store accepted it back despite their policy being 90 days for returns.

My first kettle was all plastic except the element, makes me sick to think how many 1000's of times I used it. This was before anyone ever heard of BPAs, etc. Sooo, was ignorance bliss???

yes reviews in amazon are bad hahah: " foul chemical smell and taste " maybe for silicone bead/seal that say Chip.

I have serched before ask, but I haven´t found nothing, sorry.

What of this you think is better? ( Two days ago I placed an order from Dragon tea house and I saw this kettles, but I thought they were bad quality. Now I see people like that..)

I would go with the second or third out of those 3, I think it's a somewhat newer model. Some things to keep in mind:
1) I have only used the first model (the 1000 W one, though the US version), but it has an annoying beep when you take the kettle off, put it back on, or change a setting. I "fixed" it by surgically removing the buzzer from inside. I don't know if the other models also do this.
2) The little squat kettles that come with it aren't that comfortable, especially if you have big hands. But you can use a different kettle with these plates, as long as it's induction capable and the plate can sense it Ok. A lot of people use induction plates with (unlined) iron tetsubins, for example, and some of the Lin's ceramic kettles are reported to be induction capable, though I have not tested this myself.
3) Some people have a general gripe against the principle of induction itself. I think this is probably baseless, though I don't use induction personally.
Worth reading this if you get a chance:

There's also this fancy looking one

Jerry at Cha Dao (ebay) has some electric stainless steel kettles with euro voltage in a few sizes (no induction).
I've had mine (1L) for a few months and it works great. It's pretty simple, no temperature settings or level indicator or such for those of you who want something more fancy, but it's got no plastic inside and no disturbing beeps. Also quite an appealing design and a great spout for precision pouring. Maybe it won't last very long, or maybe it will, we'll see...

If it has a plastic lid, then the steam which is VERY hot will condense on it and drip back into the water ... or as you pour hot water will be hitting the lid.

... just sayin'.

If I may use this topic to ask a sort-of on-topic question:

I'm looking for a completely heat-resistant glass kettle - all glass, no metal, suitable for stovetop water boling,

and

a tetsubin suitable for use as a daily kettle (I have no experience with these. but I see them in use here and there so I'm intrigued.)

Petr has some lovely tetsubins (I think.) Would these be appropriate to boil water on a stovetop?

Christian

This is what you want, and luckily, available much more cheaply than it used to be.

There is some plastic and metal, but none that will come in contact with the water (or, Chip, even condensation). I use it stovetop all the time, often taking it from cold directly to a high flame (though the manufacturer does recommend using a medium flame).
