I don't think it's really truly changed my eating habits, at least compared to other factors like changing my job and moving to a new country.
I will admit that I enjoy having snacks with my tea, but I think that's pretty normal.
I had tenkei tori matcha this morning with my boyfriend, and then some karigane gyokuro by myself before heading into work, and I'm now trying out some of 52teas pina colada green. It's...interesting. I don't think I've quite gotten the brewing time right.

Have been drinking tea for so many decades that it has not affected how much or what I eat. No slimming effect for me!

Oh yes,for sure. Although I've been drinking tea for almost as long as I can remember,in the last few years I've cut out almost everything (like raw garlic) that would negatively effect my pallette for tea.

Don't think anything changed because of tea. Expect that i didn't like japanese sweets without green tea. But with green tea i enjoy it really much and can eat a lot

Re: Tuesday TeaDay 4/19/11 Food cha cha cha changes?
I would say to a degree more when I eat is affected than how much. If I am going to have tea anytime soon, food will usually have to wait til after tea. Food really messes up my ability to taste, smell and get the overall flavor profile of many teas. If I was just going to have genmaicha or hojicha, it really would not matter.
What I eat is also somewhat affected for similar reasons, so spicy foods that I like are often put on waiting lists.
I would also say that more Asian foods have crept into the menu, although I was always interested and enjoyed them, they are more prevalent.
Began the TD with YM Diamond from Umami-Chaya with the Mrs. Discovered that using more than 1:1 ratio, around 5:4, will definitely help this YM selection.

No particular changes to my food habits as I drink more tea. I drink it with and without food, and while I am sometimes careful to avoid pairing strongly flavored foods with a more delicate tea, I don't use otherwise associate particular teas with particular foods.
Starting the day with some Zairai sencha and toast with honey butter.

I don't believe so. My eating habits have changed over the years-- I went vegetarian almost ten years ago and I've realized that I have some food intolerances that had been making me ill. (Lactose intolerance and being allergic to some oils-- I was like, "Oh! So that's why I always feel awful after eating ice cream!")
Rose congou this morning; some type of unidentified tea at the Chinese restaurant where I had dinner; heating water for white tea with rose petals right now.
