Recently, I bought this teapot. Can someone help me with recognized the clay and marks. Seller on eBay claim that it is "zhu ni", but I'm not sure.
The color is more red than my other "zhu ni".

Well, most importantly, what do you mean by "zhu ni"?
I don't think this is lao zhu ni if that's what you're asking.

I agree with Will. It looks like some sort of "modern zhuni" which just seems to mean a high fired non-porous clay of some sort. Nice shape. Size? Price?

With a pot as stylish as that, I would go ahead and start using it before worrying about authenticity

Thank you for all the answers. I was thinking of using it for wuyi yancha or puerh, but now I'm not sure, also any ideas ? I just started to test this new teapot.

Zhu ni isn't a good choice for either Pu-erh or Yancha –unless it is really well roasted.

A modern Hong Ni as for the clay, medium fired. Have fun with it ~ Toki
