In the past I purchased my first Yixing from Yunnan Sourcing under advisement of the many knowledgeable individuals on this board and was hoping someone may help me once again.
I just visited a new antique store that opened up in my home town. I noticed they had a bamboo styled yixing teapot. They claimed it was 1940's, but didn't even know it was a yixing teapot. I am somewhat skeptical of them. However, I do not know too much about Yixing myself. I have only encountered, in person, my one Yixing pot.
They are asking $60 for the pot, 4 cups, and 4 saucers. I apologize for the poor quality photos, as my phone is ancient. Any help in identifying the artisans marking (my phone could not take a picture of the two markings under the lid), or saying if it may be a worthwhile purchase would be greatly appreciated.
...Sorry to ask this as well. How does one upload images. I can't seem to successfully use "upload attachment" or the "Img" function either

Re: Please help to identify teapot artisan markings
You upload attachments directly from your computer.
img is from a photohoster site such as photobucket. Choose the img option for the photo, it will already be formatted.
Another option is to go to a photo's properties and copy the .jpg If it is not jpg, then you will likely have to choose one of the above options.

Thank you for the help with the photos Chip. As I said the quality isn't the best, but any suggestions as to whether it looks good would be greatly appreciated.
