Re: Can anyone read the mark on this teapot ?
It would be helpful if you resized your photo to around 500 pixels wide and posted it. That way we could all see it.In search of truth wrote:It is squirrel and grapes design,

Thanks!

Re: Can anyone read the mark on this teapot ?
The photo is too bright and contrast is not strong enough. So the characters can hardly be discerned. But the clay texture looks very nice.

Re: Can anyone read the mark on this teapot ?
Better contrast might help, but it may be that the mark has a very light impression. Either way, the characters are also the old and stylistic type, which I cannot do very well, so hopefully somebody else can.

Re: Can anyone read the mark on this teapot ?
After seeing other pictures of the teapot, especially pictures under regular light, I have to modify my comment about the clay texture. I think it's ok, nice, but not to the level of "very nice".

Re: Can anyone read the mark on this teapot ?
The big square mark that looks really nice just says "yixing china" like countless other pots. The pictures of the other mark still don't really help (me, at least)... sorry!
