Has anyone come across this clay before/owns a Yixing pot made of it?
Is it made by mixing various Yixing clays or does it occur naturally?
Cheers.

Jiangpo ni is a new clay found in 90's. It was found during the road construction and the amount is rare.
Jiangpo ni clay's contruction is similar to Qinglong mountain's clays since the found area is closer to it. I heard CaCO3 is many. The area is where Huanglong mountain Hongni, Qing Hui ni, Duanni and Huanglong mountain Zhuni come from..quoting the books..

Thank you. What category does this clay belong to? Hard like zhun ni or the softer type like duan ni?

It belongs to Duanni category, some Jiang Po Ni is Zhuni-like too. This clay changes quickly..
