Since I'm sort of new to this loose leaf tea thing, I've mostly just been picking up samples of things that sound interesting. I nabbed some heavily discounted teas at the usually maligned Teavana, and for less than a dollar an ounce, they are just dandy.
I've also ordered some herbal tisane samples for a few online places, though none of them have arrived yet.
Grand total? Maybe $50. It's more than I'll probably spend, regularly, but I need to explore a bit to find out what herbals (that being nearly all I drink) I mostly enjoy. I think honeybush is an early lead to be a favorite. Teavana has a Tulsi Chai which is actually pretty delicious, too, but I bet I can blend something similar myself for cheaper.
