Chinese Red Clay Teapot Identification

by Ming » Jan 26th, '12, 21:05

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and was hoping you can help me out. I was out in California this past weekend and found myself shopping at an Asian store called Wing Hop Fung, which sells a variety of different products including tea and teaware. I ended up purchasing a red clay teapot for about $30, but am very interested in trying to identify who makes this teapot and where it comes from. I have enclosed a few pictures for your reference (including the signature stamp on the bottom). I would appreciate anyone's help on identifying this clay teapot for me.

Thank you in advance.

Ming

Wheel-thrown..as the stamp says.

Clay could be Shantou red clay or something else.. :)
