Hi there,
I found this cute teapot at the thriftstore few weeks ago, it's cast-iron and the inside is made from a shiny black enamel. There is also a Chinese(?) stamp on the outside.
I'm always interested in having some background information of stuff I find. Anyway the pot is sitting next to me filled with some freshly brewed yerba mate.
Best,
Thrift shop teapot, looking for some more info

Hello hoffman:
Looks like a Japanese teapot, not to be confused with a tetsubin. Tetsubin do not have holes in the cap as yours does. Teapots are also usually smaller than tetsubin.
