A bit of an announcement regarding TeaDay. TeaDay is being reinvented ... somewhat. This will likely be the last "TeaDay" topic until the newer version of TeaDay rolls out on "Leap Year Day," February 29th, 2012!!! Be sure to show up for the "Grand Re-Opening Of TeaDay!
Good TeaDay everyone, welcome to our virtual TeaRoom. Please stop by and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Today's TeaRoom poll and discussion topic gives us another opportuniTea to get to know a little something more about each other (Eventually, put all these little tidbits together, and we will have a composite of everyone) Today, have a little fun with this one, OK, but no fabricating because you never know, we may all meet one day. What is your eye color and in order to give this a bit of a TeaTwist, is there any correlation to your favorite type of tea or teaware?
I am looking forward to "seeing" everyone in our TeaRoom today. All those in favor, say "eye!" Bottoms up ...

I'm torn between posting Hazel, or "My Eyes Change Color" but that tends to be a trait of Hazel Eyes. They are more likely to adapt to the colors in the area, or that you are wearing. Not sure if there is any correlation to my love of Japanese/ Korean teaware.

As a child, on my immigration forms, my eyes are described as "hazel." However, over the years they have become quite green! And, as I usually drink black tea, there is no correlation at all to my green eyes!!
Tea this morning was First Love, a very nice white tea with pink rose petals. Very nice aroma, and delicate taste.

Greenish, Green, and Green. My eyes seem to vary from green to hazel, but most of the time green.
My teas are almost always green ... and the greener the better. Even oolongs are greener in the TeaCave.
Green in teaware at one time would have dominated the teaware scene, but I have diversisfied personal tastes ... but I do love color.
And with the arrival of the Oribe ... well, a new fave Hagi cup, fo' sho'

Nope.. no correlation. My eyes are olive green, but my favorite color is red (as evidenced by my red leather couch and home in general), favorite teas are blacks, with greens/whites coming in close 2nd. There are a few Oolongs I enjoy too.
I tend towards black/white or clear glass teaware.
This morning it is my stand by, Irish Breakfast.

Hazel eyes, frequently drinking green teas (green oolongs, green tea) and brown teas (roasted oolongs, puerhs), so perhaps some correlation?
Currently drinking Haiwan "purple bud" 2006 sheng puerh from Norbu, leaves that start out a bit smoky/funky but quickly move into earthy, herbaceous, sweet wonderfulness.
