propping up gaiwan lids

by Poohblah » Mar 11th, '12, 21:05

I'm just curious if anybody else does this with the lid of their gaiwan while brewing or between brews... it doesn't work with every gaiwan:

No, I place my gaiwn lid so the edge is resting under the saucer.

Yeah, you can do that, just be careful especially if it's antique

It depends on what I'm brewing.
I usually just hold the lid in my hand for flash brews.
