Bai Ji Guan from Tea Gallery was my fave tea in March. This particular BJG was more chocolatey than others I have had.

Its the second time in my life when I drank a mix of Sencha and Gyukuro.

No clear favorite tea for March. I had plenty of good tea, but no one session that stood out or a particular tea that I found myself wanting to drink over and over. I had really good sessions with some loose Lao Ban Zhang puerh, Yong De puerh, Honyama sencha, Hawaiian oolong, phoenix oolongs and TH Dan Congs. Hmm....no white tea on that list. I think I should remedy that soon. I'm finishing my teaDay with An Ji 'precious rare white tea', always delicous, but not really a white tea at all. I think I feel a white tea session coming on....

The tea I enjoyed most in March was Nepalese First Flush - Gold Himalaya.
Second place – Darjeeling White - Happy Valley.

Clear Tea of the Month for me was Maiko's Sencha Maruyama. Just really really good sencha.
Honorable mention goes to a Yunnan black tea I bought a long time ago and finally finished, mainly brewing it in my small Petr Novák shiboridashi.
That black tea was really delicious. I brewed it rather strong and got MANY good infusions from it, like 5-7 (I just brewed and brewed, stopped counting...). I was really surprised at that. I am not an expert on black tea at all, though, so I don't know if this is common.
I don't have any details on the tea either, except I know it's from Yunnan and seem to vaguely remember it might have been called "golden needles"? In any case, the leaves kind of looked like sencha needles, only dark brown with some yellowish ones
If that rings a bell for anyone, let me know as I will be looking to get this kind of tea again.
I'll repost the pics from Petr's topic to add some color to this thread

It was matcha month for me. And currently switched to mostly hojicha, to reset my senses a bit.

I really enjoyed the 90's "unknown" yancha from Life this past month. definately my latest fave for daily drinking...for now. waiting til Shincha..lets see what damage I can do..

The 2008 Menghai Dayi Hong proved to be a success. Awaiting the arrival of the 2012 first-flush Meng Ding Gan Lu from Teaspring, and Bryan has pre-ordered a Yutaka Midori Shincha from O-cha.
Our buddy Pedro from Dao tea should be returning this weekend from visiting Asia and checking out how the harvests are going - will be ordering Saejak soon, and this year's Balhyocha. Needless to say, these next couple of months are going to be like Christmas!

I'm looking forward to Chinese green tea season! Placing a Long Jing dominant order Friday.
