american-made gaiwans?

by Poohblah » May 3rd, '12, 13:20

Do there exist gaiwans either manufactured by American companies or commissioned by American companies and sold under American brand names?

There are plenty of imported gaiwans, now I am wondering if American companies are starting to manufacture their own in the same way that porcelain started to be manufactured in Europe a little while after it was first imported from China some hundreds of years ago.

(Both of these are made in Jingdezhen, but do have their mark on the bottom)
