Tea Obsession listed a pot that should be from Qing dynasty.

But I noticed, that the pot has a multi hole spout and as far as I know the multi hole spout appeared later. So is this a Qing or not?
Re: Is this a Qing pot?
For bigger pots they did have these. The thing with this one is the enamel looks really new - suspiciously so. In any case, these are mass manufactured stuff and usually aren't very high quality (as you can tell here with the handiwork). Giant pots aren't terribly useful anyway

I use one of the very large pots from late Qing/Republican period as a kettle. These pots are not overly expensive, mostly because they are quite useless for brewing high quality tea. But as a kettle they are very nice.MarshalN wrote:For bigger pots they did have these. The thing with this one is the enamel looks really new - suspiciously so.
