Hello!
I wonder if anyone of you guys have any idea if this teapot:
http://shop.ippodo-tea.co.jp/kyoto/shop ... d=utensils
have any lead contamination? I have sent Ippodo an email, but they haven't answered, so I figured you guys might know
I had a really good and light teapot which I bought in Japan, but unfortunately I dropped the lid, so now Im looking for a new one.
Im new to this forum, but I would love to hang out more here

Im a green tea lover (mostly in to Japanese green teas) who have been drinking tea for a long time.

I have never heard any report or rumor of lead in Tokoname kyusu-s.

As the guys above said I think its safe to say its lead free.
As for the pot posted I really like the look of those grey clays. And the ball filter on that one looks stunning.
