Okay, I'll admit it straight away. I've always had a strong bias against Chinese green teas. I think it is based on some rather bad experiences with cheap gunpowder tea from Asian markets. Recently though, I have had a few quite nice Chinese green experiences. Tried some really nice longjing from different vendors.
So to the question, does anyone have any Chinese green favorites they would like to recommend to me to try and win me over a little bit more?
I quite like green teas with a strong and full taste, like gyokuro.
Any Chinese teas in general I must check out, or even one special vendor that is fantastic - who knows, maybe somebody can even talk me into trying out a wonderful gunpowder again.

Tai Ping Hou Kui
Zu Ye Qing
Several years ago I sourced more premium offerings from TeaSpring which I was quite pleased with.
Their Cha Wang selections of the above were especially good.

yeah I was just about to say teaspring.
Jing tea shop has a nice selection too. They also have a sale going on now 20-30% off many of the greens/whites. The Mao Feng is definitely worth it. A nice tea for unwinding after a busy day at work.

I've had excellent chinese greens from Jing Tea Shop, had a little more variable experience with Dragon Tea House, but get most of mine now from Norbu, since I regularly order from Greg for other teas anyway. I love An Ji Bai Cha, and have had some really nice teas right at the border of green vs oolong from Taiwan, and when it was fresh, last spring's Gu Zhu Zi Sun was just astonishingly fine.

I actually got a sample of mao feng from Wanling Tea House that I tried out last week, and quite liked it .

I would suggest you go beyond the handful of selections mentioned ... Chinese greens are exciting to explore, do not limit yourself.

I love bai sha lu. It's a well-loved tea from the island of Hainan.
I am not overly fond of Chinese greens, (I do like their black though!)
I prefer the Japanese ones.
