New pot for silverneedle tea

by tearanosaur » Apr 18th, '13, 06:14

Hello, I want a new pot for use with silverneedle white tea - preferably one that i can carry about easily... I was wondering if there were any suggestions, and whether there were any materials that would particularly lend themselves to this tea? thanks

thin-walled pots are best... but they don't travel well...How do you feel about this:

What I use for white tea (mostly silver needle) is similar.

I like to use a glass travel mug for silver needle when I'm on the go. I add a little hot water in for a minute or so and then fill it up with cold water before I leave the house (when the weather's warm). I can usually fill it up throughout the day to keep the flavor going. I use the Seven Cups travel mug, but there are a lot of other options on sites like Dragon Tea House.

Otherwise, a small porcelain pot like the one futurebird posted would be great for travel.
