My friend gave me 2 teapots.
Is it possible to understand what is it? Kiln, quality, something else?

And I have a question. These pots used for red tea and darjeeling (as I know). How could I clear them from tea seasoning?
I want to use it with raw puerh and oolong.

would you all think that the red one is a low q Taiwanese production?
and is that another stamp I see on the spout for the brown one?

Re: Help me to recognize 2 teapots.
I would take both teapots and lids and put them in a deep pan filled with water so the pots are submerged completely. Bring the water to a boil and leave gently boiling for 20 minutes to an hour or so. Remove the pots and let them cool off and then you can rinse them. If there is still some staining or residue that you want to remove, you can used baking soda either put on your fingers and rubbed into the stains or as a paste and let it sit for some time, maybe over night if stains are deep. The pot will be ready for any teas that you decide to put in them.zemlemer wrote:And I have a question. These pots used for red tea and darjeeling (as I know).
