Reid Ozaki Show at Kobo

by hopeofdawn » Jul 9th, '13, 13:17

I was visiting Seattle's International District yesterday with some relatives, and decided to visit the Kobo--whereupon I immediately fell victim to a sudden TAD attack! They had a gallery show going on containing some utterly gorgeous teawares by both Reid Ozaki and Matt Allison; chawan, yunomi, mizusashi, chaire and more, along with more sculptural and decorative works.

I barely escaped with my wallet intact ... along with three amazing Ozaki weeble cups that I've not yet had time to photograph properly. But I would encourage any other tea/ceramics aficionados in the Seattle area to check out the show--there's some really beautiful work there!
