陈远号. Apparently this brand is made by a Taiwanese according to YiWu traditions. Does anyone have a feedback for this brand/cake?

Re: Chén Yuǎn Hào
Okay...
Pretty sure he's talking about the *Malaysian* outfit that started off with the first boutique wild tree Yiwu in '03.
MarshalN is the only Westerner who has written any reviews for one of their cakes, which was a good one for an '07 fall cake.

Re: Chén Yuǎn Hào
Chen Yuen Hao is a Taiwanese brand. Not Malaysian. The manufacturer Mr Chen owns a tea shop in Tainan , Jia Mu Tang. He started out doing photography of the tea growing regions and got into tea production around 2001, yiwu gushu. His first yeh shen yiwu production was in 2003.
Re: Chén Yuǎn Hào
I tried his late 2000 LBZ, those in 100gm beeng. Good quality stuff.
Also tried his mid 2000s pure mountain tea. Not too bad either.
Generally I find his tea quite good and above average especially those earlier ones. I haven't own any tea from him but those that I tried are brewed and shared with me by other tea collectors. Sorry I can't recall the year of the cakes. Just the impression.
Cheers!
