With more and more new trends coming up in Tea, do you guys like it blended with fruits/flower/herbs/spices by the brands/companies or you like to do it yourself at home?
I personally like to create my own blends at home.
Re: Blended / Unblended ?
I generally dislike most blends... save a few which are really nice. I think I'd prefer to blend in my own home, as I have a large variety of spices and the lot. I do this from time to time, but it really isn't very often since I don't drink herbal that often let alone a herbal blend and I rarely, RARELY drink a tea blend.

Re: Blended / Unblended ?
I mostly drink C. sinensis teas without any blending of herbs or spices. I occasionally buy some jasmine pearls because friends like it, but otherwise, straight tea.
When I want other flavors, I make my own herbal tisanes from my own collection of herbs and spices.

When I want other flavors, I drink some dancong

Though I am considering experimenting with gently roasting/drying some cheap black tea with some spices... has anybody tried?

What bout Fruits and Flowers ? I feel some brands do put in 100% Natural Dried Fruits. The ones without artificial flavourings taste really amazing.daidokorocha wrote:I generally dislike most blends... save a few which are really nice. Re: Blended / Unblended ?
Fruits are definitely on the outside for me... I can't say I ever care for fruity teas, aside from coconut black and Earl Grey. I do like various flower teas though, like jasmine green, jasmine oolong, chrysanthemum pu-erh can be okay. Typically though, I'll just drink most flowers by themselves.bharatmalu wrote:What bout Fruits and Flowers ? I feel some brands do put in 100% Natural Dried Fruits.
