Any good cakes from '13/'14?
Would like to pick up some new cakes for aging if there's anything good and reasonably priced out. Anyone have any suggestions for newer cakes, or is it all either overpriced or junk?

Personal preferences are very different from person to person. What I consider high quality may not be the same for you and vice versa.
Therefore, I suggest to try some samples from different sellers and evaluate by yourself.

I am getting a cake of 2011 Xiaguan FT "White Gold Time"
from Taobao. "normal" ones are under 200RMB and ironcake around 250RMB

Since you're in HK Jay, you should probably fish in the local market (where things are inaccessible to most people posting on this forum) instead of asking here

Marshal, true, but what's really inaccessible as far as new cakes go now?
lots of members from China here, or who buy from China, many of whom know more about pu erh than I do!

Pretty good for the price. Not ready to drink now though.
The shop that ship overseas only have the "normal" cake and tuos. I heard they are not as good as the iron cake but tuo is only 30ish rmb
I put in the chinese words of this cake/tuo. Don't want to take responsibility of recommanding vendors.
