Powdered Sencha

by Noahwhiteman24 » Sep 16th, '14, 21:47

My day starts at 7:15, so I usually don't have time for anything elaborate in the morning, usually just some heat-tolerant oolong for a little something cozy to keep by me. However, powdered sencha has been looking more and more appealing. I don't know a lot about the prep, but it seems less elaborate than match, which I prefer to savor and not rush through in the morning. I was wondering, what are some popular sources for good quality powdered sencha? Thanks!

I once bought a pack from yuuki-cha. It's very smooth and convenient, though you get loads in a packet and I didn't use it quick enough!

I'm thinking about buying something convenient for the office. Not sure that I'd get powdered sencha though (purely for the 'wtf's that'll be coming my way. Thinking about some ippodo bagged sencha or something.

I've pretty much stopped being self conscious about my tea... Thanks for the pointer! I'll be sure to try the yuuki-cha out. Is their matcha good too? Y'know, to save money on shipping of course...

I've had Den's over the summer. It turns out pretty good. I did them up in 1L bottles and kept them in the fridge overnight without much issue.
