An Ji Bai Cha
I'm thinking of buying some an ji bai cha from Dragon Tea House. I noticed they have different grades like supreme and premium. is there a huge difference between the 2 grades? Also has anyone ever had this tea from them before?
Re: An Ji Bai Cha
I have not tried the ones at DTH. I have tried the ones at Jing Tea shop and JK Teahouse and they are both great. I have had many teas from DTH and in general Jing and JK are better.
Re: An Ji Bai Cha
I concur; If you have the extra funds spring for jk or jing.(shipping is expensive to the US) I personally use DTH for tea when tea funds are pretty low... I recently got 3 Da Hong Pao tea cakes that have been holding me over until I can afford better tea.puerhking wrote:I have not tried the ones at DTH. Adressing the labeling of DTH teas, I have found that they arent that much better between supreme and premium. Flavors are typically the same but the leaf quality will differ.(ie. less fannings, nicer looking, etc.)
Good luck!

Re: An Ji Bai Cha
It must be related with a period of plucking. The premium one must be plucked after Qing-Ming period (early-April), later they are plucked, more exposure to pesticides..bilochun wrote:100g premium for $15, 100g supreme for $30chrl42 wrote:What's the price saying?bilochun wrote:I'm thinking of buying some an ji bai cha from Dragon Tea House.
