Zisha Tea Caddy

by dannd » Dec 30th, '14, 14:59

Hello!

I have what I believe to be a zisha tea caddy however I have not be able to find a similar one in shape made of zisha. If anyone could provide some information on this piece and possibly a translation of the calligraphy/mark I would very much appreciate learning more about it. Thank you!

The second large character is "tea" -- written in an older style.

My husband says the first one looks like "as if" ... "as if tea"

Um that is probably wrong.
