Hello all!
Hope I am in the right spot to ask this question.
We received this Yixing tea pot as a gift from a collector in the family. She mentioned to us that it is probably from the 1980's. We were told about how the pot tells a story but do not know what that story says.
Do any of you know more about what the symbols mean? I am curious to learn more. I have taken pictures of the pot as well as all the characters. Thanks ahead of time for any information you folks might have.

Re: Help understanding symbols on a Yixing tea pot
80s sounds correct. How large is it?
瀨 might be one of the big ones...
品 means items ... depending on context. cursive sucks.

中國壺製 is my best guess which is "Made in China Teapot" (assuming you're holding it updside down :-p

the stains are making it difficult to make a quick material judgement, but there's a possibility that the pot's guangxi/qinzhou material. lid looks spun.
the seal below says : 史志国制,made by someone called shi zhi guo
wall carving, big words - 禅韵 (chan yun..haha! can anyone translate or explain yun properly??)
品茗 (孟)?..品茗 means to appreciate tea.
carving style and the staining of the words in this style later than 80s.
