I have almost finished my Jasmine green tea supply that i bought from ebay:
http://www.ebay.it/itm/500g-Premium-Org ... 0811785424
and i'm tinking of buying a refill (250g) but i wonder if i can get a better offer elsewhere (price or quality wise).
i'm also aware that jasmine tea is sold in 3 forms:
tea mixed with jasmine buds, jasmine scented tea and dragon pearls, in order of quality if i'm correct(i'm not sure if dragon pearl change only on aesthetics).
What tea do you advice me to buy and frome where at similar price/quantity?
i do want good quality but i also don't have an huge budget so i don't mind getting a good but not top-notch one so i can use it daily or try out other teas.
i'm used to wait forever for china shippings so don't mind if it's a chinese supplier(if shippings are free of course Xb ).
i'm actually tempted on choosing a good quality jasmine dragon pearl tea from the same seller
http://www.ebay.it/cln/streetshop88/How ... 0452619011
instead of the same i bought or to choose a cheaper supply from Aliexpress (i know a lot of them are crap but some are not that bad) and use the rest of the budget for something else.
Thanks!

Re: Jasmine tea advice
hello
I get mine from a shop in Taipei which I make a pilgrimage to every now and again - Lin Hua Tai Tea Company. They carry both Taiwan Green Jasmine and China Green Jasmine. I'm not a fan of the China Jasmine as I find that it has an acrid smell to it. But I suppose you really only notice it when you sniff the two side by side. I will apologize though as I'm not sure they have a website...you'll want to google that part
I also think you'd want to check out our sponsor website's, adagio teas, collection

That store seems amazing but sadly i can't find it online;

for now i'm thinking of buying it from DragonTeaHouse because it's a safe bet and has low prices (i'm trying out some other Aliexpress premium seller but at least for Jasmine i'm playing safe).
Regarding of the type of tea i get some mixed opinion about if it's generally better dragon pearl or loose leaf because in the first case they use more aged leaves but the wrapping should help mantain the flavour;
what's your opinion about it?
Is there also a big difference between teas and rating (premium to non pareil)?
I also have some question about brewing:
usually the instructions specify a brewing temperature of 85° for 1m or less but if i brew longer at 65° i get a lot more of the jasmine and less of the "bitter" taste (and i just can't resist that floral aroma);
am i doing it wrong?
Thanks

Re: Jasmine tea advice
The best Jasmine tea has no Jasmine left with the tea. Pearls seem to be the most popular choice with most people I have noticed but you need to be careful. Traditional Jasmine pearls are made by adding Jasmine petals to the green tea, then removing. This process is repeated 7 times or more. This process is very rewarding taste wise. Cheaper pearls are simply rolled then liquified Jasmine is spayed on the tea.

Hojo included a sample with my last order. It was very very clean and fragrant. If it is in your budget, I highly recommend it.
