Where to get

by TuoChaTea » Mar 19th, '15, 05:38

I hope this is the right place for this topic.

After the fall of euro (from 1,35 usd per eur to 1,05 usd per eur) the price teas risen for me by 30%.
Can you suggest a webshop where reasonably priced (not too expensive, I dare even say the word "cheap") but still reasonably good quality (I understand it will not be competition quality) oolongs can be purchased? Daily drinker type.
Preferably taiwan oolongs, GABA.
Thank you.

I've always appreciated the price to quality ratios at Tea from Taiwan.... apparently they have a GABA, though I haven't tried that one.

I just picked up some Autumn harvest Dan Cong from yunnan sourcing for a great price that I am really enjoying. Not a GABA, but great for daily drinking!

Many forum members have had good luck with:

I have liked their low altitude oolongs. No one took the bait last recomendation, but I have enjoyed their medium roast osmanthus oolong. One batch aged about two years and only kept getting better. Real osmanthus is used. I also bought their medium roast dong ding special reserve $33 for 300g.

For Europeans, I believe Taiwan Tea Crafts and Tea from Taiwan are the best stores with reasonable prices. I suppose the best way to start with TFT is to order their sample bags.

The nice thing with TTC is that they have sales every now and then. Last June, there was a big sale of the previous winter's tea.
