Tea Trekker Yixing

by hopeofdawn » Apr 15th, '15, 13:25

Has anyone ever bought a yixing pot from Tea Trekker? I'm wondering how good they are for clay quality, craftsmanship, etc ...

I was gonna say, "From the pics, they look like Yunnan Sourcing quality, but for 3 times the price," but then I checked YS and their prices have shot up too. Still better prices than Tea Trekker, but no, definitely not worth it.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking at the pictures, I could tell their pots were a bit different--but whether they were a good different or a bad different, I wasn't sure. :?

Last time I checked them out they literally had the same stock photos that Yunnan Sourcing had leading me to believe they are buying from the same factory and selling them 2x. Looking now, the photos seem to be their own however this may still be the case:

Looks to be the same as this pot:
