Just had mine delivered today. Oh, it smells DIVINE!
I came here to search for the proper amount to brew (and found that info... I love this place). I'll be trying it this afternoon with about 5-6 pearls per cup and see how it is. I'm sure this'll be a nice alternative to my Jasmine Anteadote.
Truly, in the long run, it's not THAT expensive in comparison to some other drinks you could be spending money on. A single bottle of wine doesn't last all that long and can costs way more. This is how I justify the splurge to myself anyway.

I think it's definitely worth it. I can get two great infusions and one pretty good one out of it so the cost per cup is cut to one-third for me.
I just bought Jasmine#9 to see if it was a good, lower cost substitute and trying it, I dont' think it is. It's great stuff, but for just a little bit more, I'd rather have the #12.
Since the leaves are rolled into little pearls you get quite a bit in a sample tin so that's a great way to go to try it out. They say you get 10 cups with it, but you'll get twice that, not counting multiple infusions.
BTW, I'm using about 24 pearls in 16 ounces of water. This is double what I've seen other mentioned, but it works for me!

Perhaps, but maybe I'm just making it stronger than you'll like. I've made about 5 or 6 pots in the ingenuiTEA (16oz) and have only gone through half my sample tin. I think the first pot may have been just 12 or 15 pearls, but since then it's been 24 or so.Graeme43 wrote:Soon I'm gonna be making tea in 32 ounces of water. I'm gonna go through a lot of pearls
