Wanted to get a couple this shape when I heard Shimizu Ken wasn't going to be making any more pots. Both were excellent so I just picked one and I'm selling this pot. The pot is surprisingly good for Fuka, I'm becoming a little obsessed with large bottom pots recently as I find the flavour of the tea out of them suits my preference. These ones have the most holes I've seen on a Ken pot.
Craftsmanship on this pot is excellent. Tight lid fit, very clean filter, No kiln splits. A perfect example of a great Shimizu Ken pot and will make someone a lovely daily pot.
Comes fully boxed with papers, lid wrapped separately from body in fact packed the same as Hojo gods, complete with some tea samples from the man himself.
