Ok, i'm searching again wild shan cha to compare with yuchi wild mountain of taiwan tea craft.
I found a little farmer in a south of taiwan.
They pick a leaves in a forest to big tree of taiwan camellia.
I think the tree is the same to wild shan cha of yuchi.
But...
Yuchi wild mountain is a sweet black tea (rose, litchie)
The red wild tea from south is like to yunnan diahong.
It's different process to work the leaves or it's terroir?
Yuchi is near Sun moon lake and t18 ruby is sweet too.

Re: Yuchi wild (Taiwan)
I don't know if it violates self promotion rules or not, but we carry a Shan cha that from true wild trees in sun moon lake. http://www.madmonktea.com/products/wild-mt-red
Re: Yuchi wild (Taiwan)
I'd like to up this question as i'm interested in it too,i tried four different teas from TTC (Sun moon lake-Yuchi wild-Golden dragon-Sun moon lake assam) and while they've all neat and different body and aftertaste i can taste in them the same fresh and fruity sweetness,is that something related to process?alix wrote: It's different process to work the leaves or it's terroir?
