Tea Shops in the Area of Denver, Colorado
I recently moved to Colorado and I am about 2 hours from Denver. Does anyone know of any good tea shops in the Denver area? .

Not sure about tea shops, but I recommend you to take a free tea tour at Celestial Seasonings' factory located in Boulder, CO, especially if you are into herbal tea. I discovered this tea factory tour when I went to collage in Boulder, and it was a great experience to see how herbs were processed and packed until they were ready to be sold in shops. And of course you will be able to buy their teas and tea-related products in the gift shop. Good luck on finding tea shops!

There are a few shops you might want to check out if you are in/around Denver with some time to kill. Ku Cha is my pick, but it depends on what you are interested in.

Also, another recommendation for the Celestial Seasonings tour. The mint room is awesome! http://www.celestialseasonings.com/visit-us/tea-tour

Not sure how I forgot the Boulder Teahouse. Definitely another good one to visit if you are in that neck of the woods.

it's the nicest tea place i've been to in the USA, but i've never been to tea shops in cali china towns. it is almost certainly the best you'll find in the state of colorado. it is an actual tea house -- you can sit there and enjoy a session of tea with a gaiwan and a thing of hot water.
this is another nice place to visit -- it is beautiful inside, and it's a nice place to get lunch or something. however, it's more of a restaurant that happens to serve tea. in addition, although they have an OK tea selection, they serve everything the exact same way -- roughly western style in a glazed teapot with a basket filter. no gaiwans. additional hot water does not come without asking.physiognomy wrote:Not sure how I forgot the Boulder Teahouse.
