I have been looking for a porcelain tea boat for my yixing teapot for a while now, something along the lines of these:
Anyone have any suggestions on where to look? I've checked pretty much all of the online tea shops I have in my bookmarks, and Tea Masters is the only place I've seen one for sale, but they are sold out. I know it usually isn't sold as a tea boat, since it is just a plate or a shallow bowl. But I've had trouble locating one, with the exception of some on ebay. I could always search ebay up and down, I just wanted to ask where people got theirs first.
I really like the antique ones from the Qing or the early 20th century, with blue and white porcelain. It's too bad I'm not going to China just yet or I'd find one myself
Thanks fellow teaware addicts

Search for antique Chinese porcelain on eBay. I've gotten a couple Qing dynasty plates there

Ebay is indeed a good place. The best search term is within antique chinese porcelain is "bowl", or small "bowl". There are many quite reasonably priced late qing/early ROC bowls available, which you can use as a tea boat. Also the seller katsuragi_japan has regularly such bowls as well.
