Hi,
I'm looking for a xiaguan T8653 and I've seen that for the 204-205 cakes prices are between 20-25 bucks per cake. My concern is that in the xiaguan factor website the cake appears wrapped in a way and in the sellers pics in an other way.
You can see how it differs in both links:

What do you think¿?
Re: Xiaguan fakes?
it seems to be a different kind of paper too (the one on xg website is semi-transparent, looks maybe like a rice paper?, vs something that looks more like an ordinary wrapping paper)...
Re: Xiaguan fakes?
Is King Tea SF? I noted that there is a spcy dot tmall dot com watermark on the photo.mr mopu wrote:I trust this seller.

Re: Xiaguan fakes?
We bought a jian of these from a verified vendor of Xiaguan in Kunming that we've worked with before and trust. I just pulled a few out to double check. They look like the one on the Xiaguan website. It's not a rice paper. It is a thick paper, but you can see through it. All the other pics on that aliexpress site look correct.stockman wrote:Hi,

Re: Xiaguan fakes?
This is a different one. He is legit and has sent some fake stuff back after he sent me pictures. I have a selection from him and all legit. He is a re-seller. He will purchase and then ship. I don't think he makes as big a margin like the eBay sellers do.toby wrote:Is King Tea SF? I noted that there is a spcy dot tmall dot com watermark on the photo.mr mopu wrote:I trust this seller.

The man above, Honza, is a good shop to buy in as I have Chawang shopped a bit as well.

Re: Xiaguan fakes?
I just say is hard to guarante the quality and authenticity since I saw logos of taobao shops which I know they sell not really nice stuff, thats my personal opinion. There are shops from Kunming who sell wet Xiaguan teas bought in Donguan, there are some no bad Guangzhou shops, some unknown taobao shops,
Since the price of teas there is not really cheap - can compare any single product, here is just example http://www.chawangshop.com/index.php/pu ... -100g.html and http://es.aliexpress.com/store/product/ ... 07021.html , I will not take the risk, even the selection of teas is nice and large,

Re: Xiaguan fakes?
The problem with the cakes is that the haven't got any stick with a code like the boxed tuos have.
So, then, any good seller to buy xiaguan cakes?
