Is sampletea.com a Legit Website?

I just received an order of sample aged sheng puerh, which I purchased from sampletea.com. I ordered 7 different aged sheng puerhs, 4 from menghai tea factory and 3 from xiguan tea factory. I wanted to compare them to each other, and was excited about receiving my package and doing my tasting. My package finally arrived after more than a month and although they did send 7 sample packs, only one was from the list I had ordered. Two of them were "free" samples and the remainder were all valued (on their website) less than what I had ordered.

I do not know if what I received is good because I have not opened them while I am still attempting to reach anyone from sampletea.com, but they are ignoring my messages.

Has anyone else had a bad experience with this company?

Made excellent transactions with them in the past. The last was recent, and Alan indeed was slow to respond. I reckoned he was travelling, as that was during the holidays. Which were the misplaced teas?

I've had good experiences with sampletea. Mostly tea ware though, and some aged yancha. He's slow to respond sometimes, but he will eventually

Ditto on great service from Alan. I have made many orders from sampltea, though it has been over a year since I placed my last order.

I'd be unhappy with the substitutions. Maybe they mixed your order up with someone else's?

I just heard back from Alan at sample tea.com. He will be reshipping my order and will allow me to keep the mistaken order which was sent.

I sent them a couple emails not too long ago but never got a response back. It doesn’t look like they’ve added anything new in years. My guess would be they’re not in business anymore.

Zared - thank you for the reply. I sent a message after getting an account with them but have not heard back. That is too bad since there is a teapot that I would really like..oh well.
