Re: New Look, Work in Progress...
An upgraded chat (over the previous version) might get more people using it, too! I remember it got a lot of use when I first got on here, but in the last year or so, I have barely seen anyone use it.
New Look, Work in Progress...
Fond memories of the numerous times I'd enter my search words into chat instead of the search box by mistake.

Re: New Look, Work in Progress...
Sorry if it has been mentioned before, but as you are working on changes, it would be nice if you could fix it so that email notifications work (emails sent out as per preferences set in the user control panel).

Hi there,Frisbeehead wrote:On mobile, I cannot open private messages at all. I was able to open a new one, but after I viewed it and tried to go back to it, there's no link or anything so I can see my messages...
This issue should now be fixed.

Hi TeaChatters!
Thanks, as ever, for your patience.
I'll get to work on the email notifications bit.
We're currently looking for a new chat module, and I'll update you with progress on that as possible.

Most importantly,is the font type going to change soon because the current one makes readability a serious issue.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Since we are stuck with pale purple for all eternity, what we need is for someone to create a script using Stylish that we can run on our comps to change the styles for this site.

Yes, this is the main issue keeping me from coming back regularly. No way to tell at a glance what subforums to click on for new posts.Bok wrote:What was also most helpful previously is that topics with new and unread post were colour-marked differently.
that visual clue is now completely missing.
Same issue goes for the "Stickie” posts on top.
Now it takes longer to catch on where new post start and where the stickies on top end.
Thanks!

+1 on the sentiment. Having ready access to what is new and seen is crucial.Devoted135 wrote:Yes, this is the main issue keeping me from coming back regularly. Notifications button is not working (clicking on drop down link does nothing.) Thanks again for continuing to tweak TeaChat!
I am on iPad with iOs 6.1.2.
Re: New Look, Work in Progress...
After posting in the feedback section i'll repeat here.
This new color scheme really gives me a headache besides making the site very difficult to read.
I would very much appreciate the option to go back because after the change i notice i haven't been here nearly at all, simply because of above stated results.
