I leave the tea pots to the experts.
The pot with the side handle is actually a kettle from Chazhou, which was sold around 15 to 20 years ago in a set with a stove of the same clay, which could be either used with charcoal or with an alcohol flame. I have several of those sets, in case of breakage, as they are very useful, and quite difficult to find nowadays.

Used for boiling water? Do you have a picture of the complete set?

The other pots are yixing pots, or at least are made in the style of yixing pots. Most seem to be modern pots, made in the last 10 - 15 years.

Sorry, i don't. My sets are still in storage until we can find a proper place to stay. But yes, a kettle to boil water on a stove either used with charcoal, or a small insert taken out, boiled over an alcohol flame.
