other similar communities exist, but i thought it might be nice to have a TeaChat-focused messenger until the day that one gets added to the forum.

i tried to get people on IRC in the past, but i think a web-based solution is better suited.

with that said, i made a Discord for us:

I was thinking about all the good times in the old web site chat today and wondered about setting up a Discord since it obviously isn't coming back, but I see someone already had the idea. Unfortunately the invite link seems to have expired.
