Not that I really need anymore tea ware at this stage, but has anyone purchased from this eBay vendor?

They get all positive reviews but I feel like its hard to tell how many of those are teaware related. They have some interesting looking items but it's always so hard to know what ur gonna get buying online...
On a side note, I've been wondering lately if used Yixing gets a much lower price than new? As in, if it's from a certain period, say the 70's, and it has been used, would expect that it would sell for a much lower price than an equivalent quality item from the same period that hasn't been used?
Kind Regards,
CC

Yep. Yixing has a steep learning curve, and good deals are not usually found on eBay (unless it is mislabeled and you snag it on an early "Buy It Now" before anybody else sees it.) I'd say 99/100 if a pot has a shiny patina already, avoid it.CheekyChipmunk wrote:Ting to the rescue again haha. i think it's time to adopt the mantra 'if it looks too good to be true...'tingjunkie wrote: Shoe polish pots.
