TriniTEA v1 stopped working

by jzero » Jan 8th, '07, 16:48

The other day I went to pour my morning tea and realized I had none made. I thought I had just forgot to set it up the night before.

Last night, when I went to set up the TriniTEA (I have it on a timer to start brewing automatically in the morning), I found the infuser basket had what seemed to be dry leaves in it. I emptied the basket and went to fill the reservoir and found it had water in it.

It was only then that I realized that I had set it up the other night - it never brewed.

After playing with it and pushing all the little sensor buttons, I just can't get the thing to turn on.

Any suggestions?

That was my thought, but I don't know where it is. Does anyone know how to get those silly screws off the bottom? My needlenose pliers just don't seem to grip them tight enough. Why can't they use NORMAL screws? I blame the lawyers. :)
