I am only recently getting into tea after a few business trips to China and Taiwan, where I tried Dong Mei Ren, Longjing and various types of Oolong for the first time. Mind blown!! Definitely NOT Liptons!!
Now my pantry has exploded with all kinds of tea purchases: Iron goddes of mercy oolong, genmaicha, Dong Ding Oolong, Longjing from Ten Ren, “Formosa Jade” Oolong, Nepalese green tea, an inexpensive pu’er, jasmine pearls, so-called “fancy” ceylon, a few darjeelings, lapsang souchang, a tea called ‘yunan gold’ which I adore, a Taiwanese black tea from Sun Moon Lake, plus others...
I’m still very new to the whole tea thing, so i’m just trying to figure out what’s out there!
Re: Hello from NYC
Welcome!
The black tea from Sun-moon lake Taiwan is really awesome! If you like black tea, you could try Red Oolong sometime
