Are cheap pots okay

Are cheap pots okay? Will they still absorb and release flavours? What makes them bad? im talking 50$ and under pots.

The answer is no one knows... they may or may not.
They might absorb too much, or nothing at all.
They might be safe to use, or not.

Also depends on 50bucks bought where? In the West that is cheap-ish, a 50 USD pot in China, is already at least 100 when exported.

Can only tell by individual example.

In China, using $100 you can buy a good material work made by primary artist. $50 is hard abroad.
