Hey everyone! I’m brand new to this whole culture of tea. Can’t wait to get started. I haven’t made my first cup yet. lol. I live in Pittsburgh so if anyone know of good local shops to buy tea from let me know.
I’m sorry if this was posted before, and if it was please put a link for the discussion. So, I’m brand new to loose leaf tea so much that I don’t eve know what I like. Lol. I know I want to brew gong fu style, and use a gaiwan. I have a set coming, but I have no idea where to buy tea! Online just seems like a tangled web of confusion. I don’t want to buy cheap tea, or poor quality that turns me off to becoming a tea drinker. So, where should I go for online, and what begginer teas should I go with? Any recommendations on kettles? Anyone have experience buying teas from theteashop online?
Thanks!

Re: New to tea.
Welcome, mjk412!
Have you checked out our teas at Adagio? https://www.adagio.com/ We offer all our teas in small sample sizes, making trying a lot of teas easy and easier on your wallet!
We have some excellent Oolong teas that are perfect for Gaiwan style brewing! What kind of flavors do you like outside of tea? I'll be happy to make some more recommendations for you! Glad to have you in the communiTEA!
