Magic Old PuErh Brick tea

My parents have a piece of very old (older than me I am 43) brick-PuErh Tea,
every time they eat something wrong or too greasily and not feeling well,
they just have to take a bit of the brick and make a small cup of tea, within
minutes feel better.

We believe good PuErh tea has "Tea Qi" that helps our body, when you drink
it you feel your body gets warm, it is not like the warm from ginger, but you feel
some warm feeling coming up from your tummy to your face.

Is it shou or sheng your parents drink? I would be interested to see what they are drinking that has such age.

Is it shou or sheng your parents drink? I would be interested to see what they are drinking that has such age.

Despite if it's a Sheng or Shou I'd also be interested in knowing! My feeling is it's an old Shou.

If it’s 43+ years, it’s probably Sheng because shou/ripe was invented to replicate aged Sheng in the 1970s.
