March 8th Discussion

by Bridgette » Mar 8th, '20, 00:00

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Currant!

A classic tea combination: full, tangy Ceylon black tea flavored with jammy, aromatic currants. Smooth, deeply fruity with ripe juiciness and bright finish.

Is this brightening up your day?

I was really disappointed with this tea. I was looking forward to the current and raspberry flavors but could not find them. It was simply a strong cup of tea.

This tea was okay, it feels as though it is missing something. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. I was wanting a little more flavor in it.

This was a lovely tea. I oversteeped it a bit (had to let dog and cat out. had to convince cat. had to let dog and cat in. had to convince cat.), but the currant flavor came through. This will be an occasional "fruity" tea for me.

I’m enjoying this tea . Reminds me of the apricot tea that I love. I’ll get it again

is it just me or does the tea have a dark chocolatey smell to it before brewing? Anyways, once brewed it turned into a very bland, ordinary black tea. I detect no currant, raspberry, or flavor of any sort. Just meh.

Simply not my cup of tea...
It is quite strong but a bit flavorless at the same time. Maybe mixed with something else this might work.
