I am a fan of a good earl gray, and this is a good earl gray. The lavender and vanilla blend together and complement the base, and you get nice hints of rose to make it it's own unique blend. A really good cuppa.

It is a fine Earl Grey, but the lavender, vanilla, and rose petals makes it smell to me like soap. Not unpleasant, but I don’t think it will be added to the shopping cart on the next order.

Earl grey is not my favorite, but with the vanilla flavored added in the tea, plus some cream and sugar that I put in my cup, it is better than I expected it to be.

Love the "nose" of this tea! It does smell like a garden party. Unfortunately, the Bergamot is a little strong for me. Happy to be here this month!

Hello!

The tea blend smells heavenly, and I always love a cup of earl gray. I do have to say, the base somewhat masks the notes of vanilla and rose, although the lavender is very much there. There are a lot of components, and it's hard to tell if all of them come through. Drinking it does feel like a garden party, and I think this is a great tea for springtime. Would I drink it again? Maybe. It wouldn't be my first choice though, but possibly when I begin reading Pride and Prejudice.

Very nice Earl Grey version. It tastes more like Earl Grey than it smells. I think I’m tasting the orange or blue cornflowers as an underlying flavor? I do taste the bergamot, vanilla and creme. The lavender has me befuddled. :)

I am definitely getting more of a "vanilla black tea" than I am Earl Grey, which is great, and though I did up-vote it, as in Yah! I liked it, I doubt I would ever buy it, because generally my tastes run to pure straight teas, like Darjeeling, or Jasmin, or dragon-well, partly for health reasons, (another story.)

Thank you to everyone who had the wherewithal to post Pride and Prejudice in their picture!

I really like the whole CommuniTea program, and experience, and would have welcomed it years ago since I work from home anyway, .... and I do love all the creative photos people are posting, almost like, well, a competition, and I will compete with a more beautiful, colorful cup tomorrow. This is my "dog days of winter" cup because up here in the mountain valley there is no color, just faded gray snow, and black bare trees.
Thank you Adagio!

confession: i thought Jane Austen was a character in a book. While i'm not a fan of this period of literature i sure do love this tea! It reminds me a lot of the Earl Grey Lavender i drink all the time, but with a strong hit of vanilla lurking beneath it.

Love the smell of this tea from the time I opened the packet to every time I took a sip!
